I was going to build a little 358 from a m7 or m700. Decided to go with a Kimber Montana....which still became a 358.
Under 6 pounds with a 3-10x42 Swarovski and talley Lightweights on top.
Recoil isn't bad at all. You know you fired a rifle. You aren't staying on target...but something that got hit definitely knows it. Something about those 358s when they hit.
