Guys I have an 06 that I love and it reminds me of my Dad.
I've hunted and killed multiple deer with it. I've had 06s before and killed with them. NO prejudice.

** Actually, IMO the 30-06 is THE most American Cartridge we have, so...


That said, FOR DEER -> I like the 270 W better.....it shoots FLATTER, pure and simple.
