.... Few people can shoot within the limits of the cartridge they shoot. We must shoot within our own limit!
I agree with you and HAVE said the same thing. I have practiced 400 yd shooting with appropriate cartridges and am comfortable and have killed deer 386, 399, & 402 yds.
IF, IF you hit a deer at 400 yds with a 22 LR you 'might' bruise' it.
