I don't think there's any preparation for it. Marine boot camp probably prepares a man as much as is possible. But even Marine boot camp doesn't put their mind where it needs to be.

As for prep? How can you prep for something that you have no insight on what's going to happen?




Human males are genetically programmed to survive. In combat the obvious preferred survival technique is to kill the enemy first. It takes about 30 seconds to realize that those fuggers are trying to kill you, then the training kicks in. Some are better at it than others.
