I have had hearing aid for over 20 years. Got them when I was in my early 60s. I am nearly deaf without them . I still have a lot of problems understanding some sounds. Are they worth it ? That depends on what quality of life you want. Mine are over $7000. I am lucky as I got a L&I claim. I get new ones about every 5-6 years. Mine are the most powerful you can get. Hearing has a lot to do with your mental health. Take care of it.
