So this is entirely possible, all day long. Many competitors today shoot 5-5 shot groups at 100 yards that measure .150 center to center, or less. And per the rules, when they shoot the 200 yard stage, they measure the groups and divide by 2, to reflect the same MOA value.

Many matches today end up with sub .200" aggs for 10- 5 shot groups that are shot over two days from 8AM to around 3PM.

The people who do this, have two things, one is a good gun and barrel, but they also have the knowledge to keep the gun in tune from morning to afternoon. And if you think there is no need to change things, you are mistaken.
