Like almost all shooters, I have never tried to have a rifle do that "all day long" - for any number of practical reasons. I will work through a variety of loadings, and sometimes try different sights/scopes with every rifle I own in trying to get it to make three holes touching at 100 yards - and sometimes beyond. Almost all will do that with enough experiment and effort and I sell those that will not do so for me. I do this for two reasons. It is highly enjoyable for me as a shooter and hobbyist. And, I need to really, really know any rifle I am going to use for its purpose. Once I truly know the rifle and have such confidence, all of the remainder is up to me in the moment of performance. That is of great personal importance.
