I’ve really underestimated the extent to which dispensationalism was cemented into the minds of boomers, and how deep seated their Christian Zionism really is.
I wonder what can be done about this?
Nothing. The brainwash is too complete.
Many Protestants and evangelicals have misunderstood the Abrahamic covenant. One of the most popular study note Bibles of the previous century promoted hyper dispensationalism and zionism.
It was taught in most mainline seminaries too.
This does make it a hard dogma to reconsider.
There is a solution.
It starts with acceptance of the basic message in my signature. Then grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by faithfully reading the Word and a good Church.
