Probably one of those if 45 years ago.

Went to August a few weeks ago down there. Fantastic meal.

There used to be a small French restaurant near the quarter, fancy as all get out, hard to get into. It no longer exists. Wish I could remember the name. Closed down 8 or 10 years ago.


Forgot about Galatoires or Gabrielle's. Both of those in the running.

The tie mandate largely gone now. But the jacket mandate remains. No shame in using a common coat with bourbon, turtle soup and cigar smoke staining it.
