Been prayin for a friend of a friend who is in this late 30s and just went on the vent at the local hospital. He wasn’t vaccinated. Went into the hospital w covid about 5-6 days ago and just kept getting worse. Rough estimate from a physician friend said, in his experience, only 10-15% of patients who go on the vent are surviving the Delta variant. I understand people’s hesitancy about the vaccine, but at this point, I would fear the virus much more than the shot. The shot wont guarantee you wont get it, but I’m may make the difference in how bad of a case you get. If your over 40, its a no brainer in my opinion. That being said, I have no intention of vaccinating my 15 year old daughter at this point. Just no significant risk for her.

I have zero doubt there's something nasty out there, just seems to affect some so randomly.
