I wished that they could have been relieved or resupplied before now. They gave it hell and should be proud to have done what they did for so long with so little.
They got a lesson in the Russian method of grinding down an enemy. Miniature Stalingrad. The U.S. and NATO might do well to advise Ukraine to settle with Russia while they are still in position to negotiate. Maybe they could agree to be an independent buffer state, to not kill ethnic Russians, to not operate bio-weapons labs, and to NOT join NATO whose ONLY enemy is Russia.
Patriotism (and religion) is the last refuge of a scoundrel.
