Highway 90 starts going through the Medina Valley right at 1604 and Lackland’s “Medina Base” and you could call anything west or south of it “the valley”.
https://www.mvisd.com/If the Border Patrol puts check points up and crops are grown, I call it “The Valley” regardless.
I will say there ain’t a damn thing I wanna see on 90 from 1604 in San Antonio to Van Horn except more Border Patrol !
I have no appreciation for the Big Bend region either, might as well drive to Lincoln County New Mexico for the Sacramento Mountains.
