If the Border Patrol puts check points up and crops are grown, I call it “The Valley” regardless.

I will say there ain’t a damn thing I wanna see on 90 from 1604 in San Antonio to Van Horn except more Border Patrol !

Ft Clark
Seminole Indian Scout Cemetery
Devil’s River Bridge
Judge Roy Bean
Seminole Canyon
I always liked Sanderson
Marfa Lights
Gage Hotel

All worth a look when ya get tired of I 10

I have no appreciation for the Big Bend region either, might as well drive to Lincoln County New Mexico for the Sacramento Mountains.

Crossing the river in Big Bend to Boquillas is a must, but otherwise, yeah, why would I go to Big Bend when there’s New Mexico?

What about Balmorhea! Don't go swimming.

I passed on Ft Davis too, I was sticking to Hwy 90.

Incidentally Hwy 90, Van Horn to Del Rio, is considered one of the hardest bicycle rides in the Lower 48. Looong stretches w/out water.
