My curiosity is of course academic as a Canuck, but I did shoot a Glock with a red dot on it a couple weekends ago and liked it very much.

My 6 decade old eyes seem to fight with open sights of any description anymore. Was shooting a receiver sight the other day and after swapping different powers of reading glasses I finally found a combo that allowed me to sight it in, though I'd not have won any competitions with the groups I was getting.

Anyways I just wanted to send greetings and salutations to the land of the free from this side of the medicine line.

That is a Trijicon SRO. Not really something I'd use for work/shooting people but damned if it isn't a fun piece of gear otherwise.

Which sight would you use on a carry gun? At 61 years old, my eyes just aren't what they used to be. I've read often enough about how good the red dots are, that it's time to try one. Thanks.
