With all this talk of Sardines, I broke down and bought these made by a Canadian Company on the East Coast, and Man Were They Ever Delicious! Give them a try you will be pleasantly surprised!
My favourite as well. They make'em just one hr down the road from here.
I found a sealed can of them in a lake in the Yukon during a fly-in hunt in 1998. A bear had torn the outfitter's camp apart looking for food. He missed getting his teeth into that can.
