After having and using the Athlon BTR 2-12x42 I can easily recommend it. It’s extremely clear and bright, the illumination is useful throughout its brightness levels and while I haven’t run it through the wringer I believe Stick has and it gets his endorsement for durability and accurate tracking.
I don’t have any info on the SWFA 3-15.

Same here. I have two 2-12’s and two 4-20’s and so far they’ve held up great and they’re made with the right stuff.
No idea how they’ll hold up to a 6ft fall though, I use hood mounts and fasteners and try not to drop my junk all over the mountain.
They’ve taken spills as far as sliding off a tire, etc and been fine. No idea how they’d work after tossing them into gravel though.
