The Blue Book lists production of the 1925 as 1925-1932 with the quanitiy at 36,000. I don't know where they got the quanitity. The last few years might have just been selling down inventory.

<br>Most of the 29A's have round barrels and were made after WWII. There were a few made before the war that have the oct. bl. Serial number start after the war in the 40,000 through the 50,000's then alpha code only. What is yours?
