Here is camp from back in the '60's when I started out. 1760's that is!

Carried the tarp and ropes, cut the poles on site.

As for clothing and sleeping "bags" . Leather moccasins and a few wool blankets were the norm. (and a bit of rum at night!)

Everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is time that is known
as the little dash inbetween.
