If it were true I'd still own all three, but alas it ain't. The 270 is the answer to a question never asked.
What cartridge achieves 2900fps out of a 22 inch bbl, with a hunting bullet that offers some of the highest BC and Sd, low recoil, moderate muzzle blast, easy to load for, easy to find components for, flat shooting for longish ranges while excellent for up close and personal in the dark timber, and can easily handle any big game in the lower 48?
Why, the answer to them questions is obviously the 270 Winchester......
