In the pursuit of this game I've had the 260, 6.5-06, 264Win, 270Win, 270Wby, 7-08, 7X57, 280, 280AI, 7Rem, 7Wby and 7STW at least. After all this, my favourite rifle? A 270WCF. It's backup? Another 270WCF.

Of all the above, I tried hardest to love the 280AI. But all it does it equal 270 Win velocities with 10 more grains of bullet weight. Which in the hunting fields means absolutely nothing.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!
