After reading all this, I may have to pick up or put together a .270 deer rifle. I have used a lot of different calibers, especially 6.5s, to hunt deer. Might as well give one a whirl. We hunt coal regions and don't see one too often. Truth is, if it wasn't for that Gun Writer, we probably would not have heard of one.
