I'm a certifiable 6.5 slut having run most of them at one time or another, but even I must admit that the .270 does make a hell of a lot of sense. I just bought a .270 to run as my loaner/ back up, but I'm still moving forward with my 6.5x55 build. If I started with a .270 I may have never found my true love the 6.5x55 and that would have been a shame!
