Can get just about any rifle in 270, very hard to find them in 280. If one sucks so bad and the other is so great, shouldn't that fact be switched around? I have nothing against the 280 but you just can't find the damn thing anywhere.
In all reality, do you think the 280 equals a dead animal and a 270 doesn't? Don't worry about the little things.
Should I ever customize my current 270 (and start handloading) I might switch to a 280. But for a factory rifle with factory ammo, 270 for me. Say what you want, but it will kill [bleep]. All that matters.
