I wen through this last winter for my garage.

Check output per watt used. You'll probably have them on long enough each day for that to be worth checking.

FWIW; the T number is the bulb diameter in 1/8ths.

A T8 is 1' Dia. A T5 is 5/8ths dia.

Just be sure to have more than the minimum lumens or lux at the floor.
