Thank you for all the information. My question would be this: how will all of these small differences, in moisture content affect the performance of my rifles, with walnut stocks? How can one mount the action, into the stock, to minimize the changes in the wood? Art, the two boys next door are just hammering the silvers, at Ship Creek.
