I was at a gun show this last weekend and discovered a Rem 600 Mohawk in 308 sitting in the rack. The gun was in really good shape and the price tag of $400 seemed fair to me. I have too much now so of course I let it slide. Though, when I handled it, it felt like a nice little handy carbine. Anyone hunt with one of these?

Question: Is the trigger guard plastic? Looked like it.
