I have two Mohawks, a .222 and a pristine .308. 260RemGuy helped me out on how to get the magazine in place while reassembling the rifle. I don't remember the procedure though. I think it involved either tape or rubber bands. Anyway, he was spot on as usual. He's extremely knowledgeable.
I probably suggested using a piece of clear packing tape to keep the part together and I'm sure that my knowledge was earned through trial and error.
