I have bought every one that I've found at bargain prices. Never been disappointed in them. In recent years, I've given them to family or sold them and now only have two. One was a sad, mistreated 222 that had a poor bore. Sent it off and had it rebored and rechambered to 7mmTCU. It is a seriously fun and accurate lightweight now. The other is a 308 that has a slimmed down, reshaped stock and one of my favorite midday walkabout rifles.

Here is the 308 mentioned above. The stock was a sorely abused 660 stock with impressed checkering. I cut maybe 4 inches off and reshaped the end, then sanded off all the checkering and a lot of the other superfluous wood. Unfortunately, even tho the checkering is gone, you can still see the outline of it. I just didn't think I needed to keep on sanding until the dark lines were gone. Then I added a barrel band and a good recoil pad. I really like the results.
