Coyote Hunter: Those Brownings are indeed nifty little 22 semi-auto's and I have owned several of them - but for all around uses I have preferred the Ruger 10/22 and its wonderful 10 round rapid to re-load (with more previously loaded magazines!) for decades now.
This feature alone (I won't enumerate all the others) makes the Ruger 10/22 my go to Ground Suqirrel, small game and plinking Rifle.
Trick'em out the way you like'em and "go to town".
I prefer the 10/22 Deluxe versions for sporter weight Rifles, and the heavy stainless barrel model for "serious work".

Your preference is understandable. Much as I like the 10/22, every one I've seen needs a different trigger to make it acceptable to me. I do like the mag loading, though. And a trigger swap is easy. If I didn't have the Remington Model 24 and the newer (1974) Browning SA22, I'd undoubtedly have a 10/22.
