Your preference is understandable. Much as I like the 10/22, every one I've seen needs a different trigger to make it acceptable to me. I do like the mag loading, though. And a trigger swap is easy. If I didn't have the Remington Model 24 and the newer (1974) Browning SA22, I'd undoubtedly have a 10/22.
