There is a diff perspective too. If I convert some rifles into $$$$ and go on trips, whether hunting or not,
THEN the rifles are gone AND the $$$$ are gone and I would have only memories left.

I have accumulated my arsenal over a LONG period of time, Slow investment. Most are worth more now than when bought. I’m $$$$ ahead.
I hunt a lot EVERY Winter, using diff rifles during each year’s season.

In so doing I’m using my rifles hunting and still have collateral.

Again I’m not arguing, there’s more than one way to skin a skunk. smile
