As far as a UFO cover-up, what else are the authorities supposed to do?
Even if they've got evidence of them, they don't know how to explain them. So it's best just to deny any knowledge of them.
What does anyone expect them so say?
"Yep!,..they're out there. We don't know what they are. Meeting over!"
