Nothing I killed was beyond 200 yds, but most of it was well short of 50 yds. Yep, and during my teens, I didn't bother to check zero if I changed brands, weights, whatevers with my .30-30 ammo, just pace off 50 yards, shoot a beer can, then proclaim the rifle is ready!
