O I'm glad he's a painting contractor. I paint everything like it's an old tugboat. Paint is for protection, slop it on good and it's more protected, right. And if the main color gets on some trim, well that's better protected too.

Reminds me of our family, I do all the painting that needs doing, and I'm fairly good at it. I dont let my wife get near it, her painting technique looks likes she's killing snakes.
Maybe her technique isn't an accident?
Mine isn't either.
It's similar to my standard response when someone asks if I can help them with an electrical issue.
I say "sure, but the only thing I really know about electricity is that if you do something wrong it shocks the scheidt out of you".
They usually find an electrician after that.
