How? How will they safeguard anything? Those days will pretty much be over in a few weeks or months. The demoncraps will reach out to all the states to seize guns and disappear anyone the least bit contentious. Those states who won't comply will be made to with extreme prejudice. Destroy the capital of the first and the rest will fall in line quickly.
This is how socialism works.
They can't safeguard much when the watchdogs are not all loyal. I'd rather go out making a hot pile of brass than buttrot in a old folks home myself, I'm probably not the only one.
You safeguard assets by moving them out of the country. That’s what wealthy Venezuelans did, wealthy Jews did when Hitler came to power, wealthy Hong Kong residents are doing now. That’s how the wealthy safeguard against political upheaval, obviously you have to have the means to do that. I’m not talking about Joe Blow American, they stay and starve like the average Venezuelan now.
Most of us here won’t have the ability to do that if the country unravels, but the people that drive the economy will.
