It’s more about the range, and conditions ... and time of year I was shooting in the most.
Long range = alsways over 2oo.. .. I go with the 243
Always Under 300 with lots of yotes = AR 223, better yet 6.8 SPC
Long long range (western Kansas) 500 yard shots or more 25-06
243 (in fact any cal. That is. 70 grain plus) HAMMERS yotes hard.....
