best balanced rifle I've ever had in my hands that I liked the most, was the Remington Predator Models when they first came out...
fast runner up would be the older Remington 700 Mountain rifles with the laminate stocks...

but I do have a couple of varmint caliber Featherweights, that are awfully darn handy feeling also...

always keep saying I was going to take off the 223 barrel with a one in 12 twist and put on a 1 in 7 twist barrel...

I could live with that real easy....
