Lol...1911's suck to carry day in, day out. Not mention 3 or 4 magazine pouches on a Sam Brown that already has 2 sets of cuffs, a radio, a taser, an asp and whatever else their department requires.
TV badasses and drug store lawmen can get away with barbeque rigs, but it's not what a working cop uses.
I love 1911's, but they're not the best tool in the box.
