Small business account for 44% of the US economy, now they are an endangered species thanks to the experts "models" junk science, and those of you in the scientific community better start policing your own. If you don't , you lose credibility along with the junk peddlers.
No, I don't deal in government contracts. I have a "hall pass" letter from DHS that identifies my employer as a part of Critical Defense and Transportation Industry. I live in one state and work in another. Supposedly if roads and borders are closed, I can still get to work.
This however cuts no cheese with the county health authority, now that my wife has a pending covid19 test.
But every business I pass on my 63 mile drive is open. Most have limited hours, and restaurants/bars are carry out only. Everyone I know is doing normal business albeit with some limitations. There are some lay-offs in local industries,but some of them were coming due to changing Ag conditions, and downstream supply issues anyway. And their employees on layoff, with Pelosi's Supplement, are making more than I am on limited (36) hours.
Life is more normal than not, from what I see.
