My Ruger 1 started out as a 1A 30-06. It now wears a 23” Douglas barrel in 257 Roberts caliber with ebony tip, Skeleton grip cap, enhanced checkering and gorgeous factory wood. Leopold matte finish low rings grip a matte 2x7 Leupold scope
It groups well under an inch with a preference for 117-120 grain bullets at about 2925fps.
Pronghorn, Coues Whitetail, Javelina, Coyotes dislike it. I love it!
