Militia is the wrong term---
Suggestions ?
The 2nd Amendment uses that term.
As did the Supreme Court when they upheld that "militia" meant an armed citizenry.
The nutjob kook groups have stained the term though.
The media uses "militia" as a buzzword now... Like "assault rifle".
If it were me, I'd use the term "Buddy Group". Because that's what it should be...
