Congrats jorge! I’d wanted a Marlin GG 45-70 ever since they came out. Got one 4 years ago, and finially shot it about 5 weeks ago. Ten shots on first outing, the first 5 to get on paper, then these 5 at 100, using a 1-4 Vortex, with my homegrown 430 grain WFN @ 1789 fps average.

Very happy with rifle and load performance! I hope to get back to my home state and poke a hog with it! memtb
