Yea, I've tried a 540 grainer at 1550 fps, and my "standard" load is a 436 grain bullet at 1679 fps, and also tried a 300 grain HP at 2200 fps, all are obnoxious in the recoil department, 10 or so rounds and that's it.
I could shoot the 355/1355 load all day.
I bet it'll still fully penetrate an animal bigger than a whitetail.
