I drink because I find most people who don't drink to be insufferable boors who feel the need to constantly claim unwarranted moral superiority and I don't want to be like them.
I've been recently working with a guy that was an out of control partier. Spent time for it more than once. Now, he quit drinking after his last stint in county but still smokes weed like it's going out of style and his face and eyes show it. He is constantly judging his friends (some are mutual to me) who still drink. I just kinda roll my eyes and walk away.
I don't care if people decide not to drink but don't be a hypocrite about it.
