I used to be in the "conspiracy" camp about this. I even did a term paper in my HS government class on the subject back in 1974.

Then I read Case Closed (Gerald Posner, 1993). I've since reread it several times. Very thorough review of all of the facts.

Chapter 14, "My God, They Are Going To Kill Us All," is a particularly compelling argument in favor of "The Single Bullet."

Even if you don't want to wade through the whole tome, that chapter alone is well worth the time and effort.
