The thing that gets me in the OP is the assertion that our cells keep making the spike protein over time.

mRNA is destroyed during transcription ie in the process of coding for the spike protein. I’m pretty sure the half life of the vaccine in the bloodstream is likewise brief.

So, enough spike proteins produced at the outset to cause the clotting problem sounds reasonable, continuing to crank out spike proteins not so much.
