Bought 5 R2s for Christmas. 1 for each female in the house, for me,
And one for a daughters boyfriend.
The cheaper steel. It's good enough, and easy to sharpen quick.
No worrying (too much) about abusing the blade.
The girl and boyfriend got the limited run Ivory scales.
I felt kinda bad. He was beside himself over that dam knife.
You would have thought he got some engraved custom thing,
not a $20ish Taiwanese thing.
Stuck it in his pocket, haven't seen him without it since.
