I would carry my Kersaw 1993-2 VG-10 Gentleman's a lot more if it were more easily replaceable. It mostly gets carried in a back pack as a back up so it can't accidentally slip out of a pant pocket. It is a sweet one for sure.


Brother Watchman makes a “copy” of the Kershaw Gentkemans Folder, but cheaper handle materials and 440c steel. I haven’t put it through the paces yet, but against my Kershaw it’s very very close, at $25. I tried to get Kershaw to bring out another run of them and they said no, so I don’t feel quite as bad with the pure Chinesium knife.
