My .25-06 is an adl action. I had one of these on an old model 70 when it was a wildcat. That was a good rifle, but too heavy. I also had a 700 adl std. in /25-06. But my current one is a 700 with a 26 in Douglas air gauge #5 barrel. A bit heavy but deadly. I made it for shooting coyotes. It has a 12x Leupold with dots from 200 to 600 yards. Very accurate and easy to load for. In addition to coyotes, it has killed lots of whitetails, antelope, and some mule deer. For several years I used it mainly for coyotes and whitetails. But lately have switched to a .270 built almost the same.
