I use some Campbell’s soups as the base that I add a lot to. Like New England Clam Chowder. It’s pretty dismal straight from the can. I’ll add a can of minced clams with the juice , some dried chopped onion , a pat of butter , a little bit of black pepper , red pepper , garlic , and a tiny sprinkle of paprika. Add 3/4 soup can of half and half and 3/4 soup can of water. That makes it better and enough for a meal.
