Snare 'em. I catch them in coyote sets all the time. They'll just sit there until you "untie" them.
I turned two of my neighbor's dogs out on sets I had. One wasn't in great shape. Good thing I check snares daily when I set them.
Still irresponsible of them to let their dogs run at large, despite me directly telling him I have coyote traps here, and have seen his dogs many times.
Guess he doesn't care one way or the other.
